This week, Nance speaks with Sophia ("So") Sinopoulos-Lloyd. So is a queer Greek-American who grew up in the northern hardwood forests of Alnobak/Abenaki territory (central Vermont). Much of So's work is animated by a study of how personhood and spirituality are interwoven with geography and can be further informed by intimate knowledge of place through naturalist study. Along with their spouse Pinar, So runs Queer Nature and develops nature-based programming for LGBTQ+ people. More information about Queer Nature can be found at queernature.org
