Missiology Lectures: “Asian Perspectives on 21st Century Pluralism” with Allen Yeh
Missiology Lectures 2014
Newbigin's Gospel in a Pluralist Society was published 25 years ago. We will commemorate the anniversary of its release with reflections from several distinguished speakers on this seminal text.
Allen L. Yeh
Associate Professor of Intercultural Studies and Missiology at Biola University
Allen Yeh is a missiologist who specializes in Latin America and China. His other academic interests include history, classical Edwards (America’s greatest theologian), and Adoniram Judson (America’s first intercontinental missionary). He serves on the Board of Directors for American Baptist International Ministries. He earned his BA from Yale, MDiv from Gordon-Conwell, MTh from Edinburgh, and DPhil from Oxford. Despite this alphabet soup, he believes that experience is the greatest teacher of all (besides the Bible). As such, Allen has been to over 50 countries in every continent, to study, do missions work, and experience the culture.
