This week, we interview Gareth Petts. Gareth is one of the UK's highest performing Age Groupers, having finished Kona in 9.44 as 3rd brit in AG - he's also the first official member of Team Oxygenaddict to complete Ironman Hawaii! We hear how he finished 3rd AG at Ironman Wales at his first crack at the distance despite having a puncture and suffering from GI distress on the run, and he WON the marathon at the Long Course Weekend Wales in 2015. We talk to him about his progression from runner to triathlete, and the lessons he learned while living in Hawaii with Joe Skipper, Reece Barclay, Lucy Charles and Andy Greenleaf. You might be interested to hear that despite his massive fitness improvements, he considers his biggest improvements to be those involving pacing, and he talks about the benefits he feels he gained on the marathon in Hawaii by using the 9/1 run-walk method that you'll have heard Coach Rob talk
