The problem is I already pay for HBO, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, and I cant stand most of the Crap on TV now, I wish we could pay only for what we watch, it would only be about five channels.

Best bang for your buck is Youtube TV in my opinion. Hulu has too many GOTCHAS kind of like cable. I dont know how many programs I can watch in my lifetime, but Hulu seems too much money for many wasted channels and fees you probably wont ever watch. HULU DVR is pathetic while Youtube TV is stable and easy. I do like your channel thanks.

Im with Hulu since I watch a lot of shows and if you pay a premium, Hulu will either remove the commercial or allow you to skip. YouTube TV always keeps the commercial and sometimes does not allow you to fast forward. Plus, Hulu has the additional channels like HGTV, DIY, etc.

While I did learn something you talk WAY to fast with no breaks. I had to pause it just catch my own breath! Slow down on your future videos please.

Hulu seems to have more regular shows as YouTube tv has more sports and news.

Its NFL season and now Hulu wont let you stream games anymore on your mobile phone just a heads up for those who are thinking about subscribing to hulu.

The one problem I have with Hulu TV is that you cant set up the guide to just show the channels you want to watch. With YouTube TV you can.

Frankly, Ive recently rediscovered Netflix and am really enjoying its massive content. Makes regular cable look really bad, especially movie content. Continually surprised at what movies dont show up on HBO and Showtime.

I think that would be my choice. Tried Sling TV and found it wanting. Cancelled but did get a Roku Express so that was nice.

YouTube has Tennis Channel and SEC network plus movie channels look to be a pretty good selection.

YouTube TV has a guide similar to what most people are used to...channels in order as you would see them with your cable or satellite box. I like them both, but lean towards YouTube TV for that reason and the unlimited DVR. Hulu Live (not Hulu TV) frustrated me by not having the guide. You can build your own guide, but thats a pain. I also found more movies that I liked on YouTube TV. (Side note Netflix, really lacks movies, at least every time I think of one Id like to see, it seems they never have it on Netflix...they need to step it up. If I look on Amazon Prime, they may have it, but there is always a charge...what the hell am I paying for aside from the free shipping)...ok, other rant over. Also, you definitely need to try this on a Roku device. It feels more like what most are used to with their cable/satellite boxes. Finally I am not sure I heard you correctly, but YouTube TV in NOT just live TV. I have searched for all kinds of shows live or not, and have had no problems watching them. I may have had to wait one time, but in those cases, check under Movies and not under the live TV menu...pretty sure that works, and I think that was before I searched in other areas. I actually did like some of the suggested movies/shows too.

Hulu has too many issues.... like DVR space ... and cost over all. Also had many issues logging in to watch on my Amazon. Then there the fact that the app on my smart tv that doesnt have live tv in hulu app.. reason why I have amazon... to watch hulu ....just too many issues.. Im giving YouTube some serious thought.

The PlayOn app changes some of the storage comparisons by providing an external means of saving programming from the streaming services.

Which steaming services with cable type channels allows you to pause, fast forward and rewind? Thanks.

Anyone know of a streaming device that when plugged in with Ethernet cable doesnt still broadcast WiFi? Roku has a strong EMF/EMR signal all around the house even when it is plugged in which seems like it should be one or the other.

Attennas definitely are making a comeback dude. Much Thanks for this honest review. Well spoken & done so easily to understand. Im leaning towards getting this & PhiloTV (Review that one!) + an atenna & cutting the cord. Ill come back to update how its goes. PS: Youre very handsome tbh. :)

in the end well never be ahead of this game, even though i had cord-cut a few months ago, i am seeing price increases in internet access in the horizon.

I canceled our dish service in testing both of these and we actually ended up picking Hulu as top dog. Yes I did like that directv now had more channel selections but the deal breaker for us was Directtv now had a noticeable lag in loading switching from channel to channel or even just waiting for the app to load on our smart tv hulu loaded faster and you could switch between channel quicker where directv had very long pauses. Maybe they have gotten better since.

I joined DirecTV a year ago now for Destination America online and all the other channels. It started off great paying $65 but in March, they changed to 2 main packages and cut back the channel lineup and charged $75. You also have to manually turn on the volume when using the app. Today I switched to Hulu because they have most of the channels that DirecTV dropped and a massive database of old shows I watched as a kid. They are making new shows like Netflix, and it’s not the Hulu I remember.

CBS ALL ACCESS is a LIE. The all access part of it is a lie cause you will not be able to watch season 1-11 of big bang theory, Mom or Young Sheldon unless you want to pay even more per episode. They only let you watch the last season for free. So I signed up through Amazon Prime Video for CBS all access pass to learn this. Dont think I need to tell you, but I will anyways that I am canceling CBS cause it was a total LIE and $10 is all they are getting from me.
