I visited Iceland in February this year to attend the Sonar Festival. Apart from great music artists, I wanted to see the countryside of this fascinating and beautiful island up north in the Atlantic ocean. It turned out that we were really lucky - five days without blizzards and not even one cloud in the sky, which is pretty unusual due to the constant changing weather conditions. We visited one of Iceland's most popular waterfalls "Skógafoss". In the area you can climb mountains and enjoy the stunning ocean view, while taking a rest in the green grass and feeling peaceful. This mix represents the soundtrack of this moment.
This mix features some of my current and all-time favourite artists like the US ambient & post-rock duo Hammock, Washington-based sound designer and composer Rafael Anton Irisarri and the ambient project of New Zealand based, Australian composer Stray Theories.
